Crop Walk is May 17 - BARA is providing radio communications for the annual Crop Walk in St. Joseph again this year. We are looking for volunteers to operate for a few hours. Only a 2 meter HT is needed. Meet at 1:45 pm at the First Congregational UCC, 2001 Niles Ave. in St. Joseph. Contact Dan KF8Z via email (kf8z at sbcglobal.net) or phone (926-2453) and let him know if you can be an operator for this fun event.

Monthly Ham Breakfast is May 30 8:30 am at Roma's on Red Arrow Hwy just north of the stop light in Bridgman. All are welcome.

The June BARA meeting will feature a presentation by Midwest Energy featuring their Electrical Safety Program. The Hot Line Demonstration features a trailer setup including poles and power lines that carry 7200 volts of electricity.
This will be an outdoor presentation so bring a lawn chair and dress appropriately. There is a great write-up in the April Rusty Key newsletter.

Status of 146.220/146.820 Repeater System: Work on the site is on-going. At this time the repeater is off the air. Thanks for your patience while we get things straightened out and working again soon.
